This collection is connected to the Jewellery collection of the same name.

It was early June and the weather was baking hot. The first lockdown of 2020 was in action. In this one, we were all still allowed outside but had to limit our group numbers. Families were out playing, children, joyfully screaming. I had never seen the beaches so packed.

Jordi and I paddled out to a quiet spot and gathered shells. Over the next couple of hours, I pottered around, arranging the curiosities into collages within their own square-shaped frame. The line of frames became a little, temporary public gallery for fellow beach explorers. I didn't know who was going to see them, or how long their life-span was going to be. They were later washed away by the tide.

Dissolved like Buddhist Mandalas.
